Omnicom Media Group’s Predicts conference, organized every two years, is designed to provide greater knowledge of how to manage communications across this rapidly developing region and to examine the media and advertising trends, developments and innovations that will affect business in Latvia and Eastern Europe over the next few years.
 

Predicts was held in 2004 and 2006 and acquired confidence and large attendance (over 200 participants), the large part of which were managers and marketing directors of the biggest companies in Latvia. Based on the successful experience from the previous events, the scale of the conference is planned to be extended to the participation of over 400 attendants. Based on the success of 2004 and 2006, Predicts 2008 will cover such important topics as social, economic, political and technological trends, new consumer findings, international client expectations and creative issues. Predict 2008 will also provide the perfect forum to share industry experience.

To predict the processes in this rapidly changing environment is a complex task. It takes two years to observe the movements in a wider scale of the industry and to adjust these processes to the local market. People from the marketing sector are interested in the predictions and the future visions of the agencies, clients and media owners. It is not easy to hold someone`s attention for more than 20 minutes, due to this we have focused all of our efforts on the content of the presentations. "
